I know what you are thinking, "wax is white to begin with so why do I need white coloring?". While most waxes come in white - they are generally very opaque. In order to get a good, thick white look you will need to add in this concentrated white dye. It's ideal for use in taper candles, cut and curl/dip and carve candles, wax hands, and any over dipping where adhesion is necessary. Each block is scored into 8 sections, with each section capable of coloring 2 pounds of wax. One complete block (all 8 sections) will color approximately 16 pounds of wax when used for pillar candles. You should use a bit more whitening when over dipping candles.
