This small rubber plug is for metal molds and replaces the wick screw. Simply pull the wick through the wick hold and insert the plug - no need for the Phillips head screwdriver. Also, depending on the type of candle you are making (i. e. cold pour, rustics, and chunk candles), you will not need to use mold sealer.
