Not Impressed

OK So I'm new to candel making but it aint rocket science. I started mt hobby by scavenging unscented pillar candles and melting them down.. Then I progressed to slab wax from craft stores "Way to spendy"
So this was my first major purchase of wax by volume and @ 50 lbs I'm really kicking myself. I have had nothing but trouble trying to properly wick this stuff. And the hot throw at 20% is not any better then 10% in any other paraffin I have melted down, if not worse!
But the biggest hassle and one you cant rectify in any way, is what a pain in the arse it is to divide up into usable portions from the 25lb bags it comes in ( 2 x 25 for a 50lb order).

This stuff is like 34 degree honey! It is very soft and sticky as all get out. What a pain and a mess to deal with. So much so that the only good selling point to this wax, which by the way is its single pour ability, is just not a big enough over compensating factor to warrant messing with this nasty stuff.
